Manufacturing our products in France allows us to minimize our environmental impact while ensuring fast and efficient transportation. We exclusively work with suppliers based in the European Union, who are now genuine partners.
A step towards bio-based materials
We are innovating to enhance sustainability and adopt a more circular ecosystem. That's why, since 2024, we've taken a major step forward by introducing bio-based materials, incorporating new yarn colors made from natural and renewable materials.
This improvement in our product is part of our commitment to significantly reducing our carbon footprint, as the woven upper layer will consist of 33% bio-based materials.
Towards a more harmonious and circular economy
Our R&D engineers have initiated the redesign of our product by replacing some of the components of its yarns with plant-based materials, marking our commitment to a sustainable and responsible future. Dickson Woven Flooring continues its ambitious mission to replace conventional raw materials, derived from fossil fuels, with bio-based alternatives.
0% Phthalates
Since the launch of Dickson Woven Flooring in 2013, only the woven upper layer of our product was phthalate-free. The challenge for our R&D department was to "produce flooring with 0% phthalates and no heavy metals," which we successfully achieved in 2020.
100% Responsible
The production process of Dickson woven flooring is designed to optimize the lifespan of the entire range that makes up the collection. When designing our Dickson Woven Flooring products, durability is one of our top priorities, ensuring that the flooring lasts long with proper maintenance. Our flooring is perfectly suited to withstand heavy commercial traffic, with a 15-year wear guarantee.
REACH
Dickson has developed treatments designed and applied in strict compliance with European REACH regulations. Dickson's commitment to eliminating any controversial substances in the Dickson Woven Flooring collection is fully aligned with this eco-innovation approach.
BREEAM
The BREEAM method assesses the sourcing, design, construction, and operation of buildings. Our Dickson Woven Flooring collection meets various BREEAM requirements, primarily in the "Health and Wellbeing" and "Materials" categories.
LEED
Our woven flooring contributes to earning numerous credits under the LEED V4 system. This globally recognized sustainability label ensures that users will benefit from a building meeting high standards in areas such as energy efficiency, water conservation, and smart material choices.
WELL
Our flooring makes a positive contribution to a healthy indoor environment through its low VOC emission properties. It ensures excellent acoustics and a safe environment.
